Ace Parking has been awarded the contract to provide professional car park management services to administer all aspects of paid parking, including ticket machine maintenance and parking enforcement for Parks Victoria’s Albert Park Reserve.

Ace Parking will service over 1800 spaces across 2.25 square kilometres of parkland including Albert Park Lake, serviced by some 81 ticket machines.

Albert Park Lake Car Park Management Contract Awarded

All funds raised through car parking revenue is used to improve the services and facilities at Albert Park, including:

• Better trails
• Better picnic and playground facilities
• Better sports grounds and irrigation systems
• Community sports club grants
• More trees
• Improving public safety
• Improved environment and habitats

Parks Victoria is all about “Healthy Parks, Heathy People” and rightly Albert Park Reserve serves a wide variety of users engaging in leisure and recreational activities.

There is a mix of Duncan Parking Meters (Models: MX, TX, TTX) and CDS Pay and Display ticket machines.  An upgrade program has been put in place to implement the latest technology with the previously coin only ticket machines, being upgraded to accept tap and go payments and offer Licence Plate pin-pads to future proof the park for improved enforcement services.
